PHSC plc (“the Company”), the provider of health, safety and environmental services to corporate and public sector clients, announces a group pre-tax profit of £86,000 for the quarter ended 30 June 2006, on a consolidated turnover of £1.006m
Adamson’s Laboratory Services, a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Company, is shortly to open a regional office in the Midlands area, to cope with a record forward order book. Recent contracts won include work to an initial value of approximately £375,000, rising to a potential total fee income exceeding £750,000, over a three-year period at the Shell Centre in London.
Personnel Health & Safety Consultants, a further wholly-owned subsidiary, has been commissioned to undertake an auditing programme across Newsquest Media Group offices and print sites, worth around £70,000 over the next 12 months.
RSA Environmental Health continues to win orders for work in local authorities, most recently a contract valued at £32,000 for London Borough of Tower Hamlets.
In addition the Company continues to seek further value-adding acquisitions.
